We offer our faculty members the opportunity to join a strong community of families, educators and students working together towards creating a legacy for the future. Programs at the Academy are year round and start at 6 weeks of age, continuing through Upper Elementary.

The Academy boasts spacious classrooms with lots of natural light, a rich budget for professional development, classroom supplies, extensive field trips, an organic lunch and snack program and knowledgeable classroom support staff. Despite the urban location, there is access to green space as well as three large gross motor areas, and a separate 4,000 SF stand alone gymnasium. We are currently seeking to fill the following positions:

This is a place for the young child to learn valuable life lessons, building a firm foundation for a lifetime.

Academy teachers feel confident and supported in their abilities to make a difference in the child’s life both socially and academically, both by the administration as well as the parent-run 501(c)(3) organization Friends of the Montessori Academy of Chicago. FoMAC raises money specifically for teacher training grants, classroom supplies and student scholarships.

As the school continues to grow to meet the needs of its students and our surrounding community, faculty and team members are continually consulted for input on improvements and program changes.
