Toileting in the First Three Years of Life

January 10 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Toilet learning is a natural process and should be done at a pace
that promotes comfort and independence. Encouraging children
to become aware of their bodily functions during this sensitive
period of development for toileting allows for less distress
when the child is older and more physically able to control their
toileting abilities. The Montessori approach to toilet learning
begins at birth and continues throughout the first three years of
life. Come and learn more about the Academy’s approach to this
important developmental stage. This event will be hosted by our
Lower School teachers and will include take away material that
will assist you in becoming a toilet learning expert.
