DESCRIPTION:Toilet learning is a natural process and should be done at a pace\nto promote comfort and independence in the child. Encouraging\nchildren to become aware of their bodily functions during the\nsensitive period of development for toileting allows for less distress\nwhen the child is older and more physically able to control their\ntoileting abilities. The Montessori approach to toilet learning is\nto begin at birth and continue throughout the first three years of\nlife. Come and learn more about the Academy’s approach to this\nimportant developmental stage. This event will be hosted by our\nLower School teachers and will include take away material that will\nassist you in becoming a toilet learning expert.
