DESCRIPTION:Our Admissions Coffee Chats provide prospective families with the opportunity to learn more about each program and tour our state-of-the-art facilities. These informal information sessions help interested families become acquainted with our community and offer the chance to ask our faculty\, administration\, and current parents questions about the school. A morning at the Academy includes basic information on our programming\, Montessori pedagogy and history\, and the admissions process. \nRSVP is required. Please send an email to admissions@montessoriacademychicago.localhost.me. Adults only\, please.

SUMMARY:Continued Parent Enrichment: Picky Eaters at the Nursery Level
DESCRIPTION:Chicago’s very own Kids Table will share tips and tricks for\nencouraging healthy eating throughout the ages\, focusing on all\ntypes of foods including whole grains\, fruits and veggies. The Kids\nTable and the Montessori curriculum recommend we include children\nin the cooking experience to foster a love of healthy eating and\nnutrition. While in the Montessori classroom students participate in\nPractical life from chopping\, grating and rolling\, to enjoying the fruits\nof their labor. With lots of smelling\, touching\, and tasting along the\nway\, even the pickiest students are tempted by their creations!
