The Montessori Journey is a powerful and emotional event for
many parents and staff. Many of the adults who are involved in the
Academy did not attend a Montessori school as a child. Although
you can read about Montessori philosophy, attend parent nights,
and observe in the classroom, it can be difficult, at times, to really
understand the experience that the child has every day at school
in a Montessori classroom. The Montessori Journey provides an
opportunity for dedicated adults to explore the entire continuum
of the school and experience firsthand, just like the children, the
amazing things that an authentic Montessori program has to offer.
*This full-day event includes breakfast, lunch, and afternoon
refreshments. Childcare is not provided  for this event.
