Chicago’s very own Kids Table will share tips and tricks for
encouraging healthy eating throughout the ages, focusing on all
types of foods including whole grains, fruits and veggies. The Kids
Table and the Montessori curriculum recommend we include children
in the cooking experience to foster a love of healthy eating and
nutrition. While in the Montessori classroom students participate in
Practical life from chopping, grating and rolling, to enjoying the fruits
of their labor. With lots of smelling, touching, and tasting along the
way, even the pickiest students are tempted by their creations!
