Toilet learning is a natural process and should be done at a pace
to promote comfort and independence in the child. Encouraging
children to become aware of their bodily functions during the
sensitive period of development for toileting allows for less distress
when the child is older and more physically able to control their
toileting abilities. The Montessori approach to toilet learning is
to begin at birth and continue throughout the first three years of
life. Come and learn more about the Academy’s approach to this
important developmental stage. This event will be hosted by our
Lower School teachers and will include take away material that will
assist you in becoming a toilet learning expert.
