Come join us for a discussion of Montessori philosophy at the
Elementary level!
In this session we will map out the whole child using Dr. Maria
Montessori’s philosophy of all the planes of development.
Items to be discussed are:
• Focus on the changes of developmental planes of lower and upper
elementary students
• Overview of lower and upper elementary curriculum including our
exciting new Columbia University Reading and Writing Program!
• Implementing Executive Functioning Skills in Elementary
• Short video to highlight a balance of expectations for a successful
and happy child
Mr. Jason from the Polaris community would like to host a parent
book club. The title of the book How to Talk so Kids Will Listen. And
Listen So Kids Will Talk by Adele Faber will be discussed.
This will be a great opportunity to engage with our community and
show you how to best navigate your Elementary child! This CPE is
geared towards Polaris and Antares parents, but we welcome anyone
from the Academy community who is interested in learning more
about our elementary program.
