The first three years of life are a critical time for language and
speech development in children and it is during this time that
the foundation for future literacy is formed. Join the panel of
Academy Nursery teachers to discuss the progression of language
development for children aged zero to three years old. The panel
will describe milestones and ways to facilitate early language
acquisition with the objectives to identify and strategize best
practices in the classroom and what families can do to promote
language development at home. Emily Robin, Speech Language
Pathologist, will be present to share information and resources
regarding language intervention and how she provides clinical
guidance and consultation for the Academy community. All
nursery families are welcome!
